As you can see, I use a wheelchair. I also use crutches. Can't walk without them. This is because I have had rheumatoid arthritis since I was 5-years-old. I do not remember before the arthritis. My arthritis got worse over the years and is still active. Currently, I have other health problems as well. If it's not one thing it's another. But what choice is there other than to do the best we can? That's how I see it. Try not to let others' misguided judgements get to you. I've been there. When I was in school people thought they could catch what I had. That has never been true. Nothing I have is contagious. Anyone that has any questions about my health can ask me. I'm very open. I have never heard a question about my health that I was not willing to answer. That doesn't mean there aren't any; just that I haven't heard one yet.
I always say the reason I started writing was because I had an idea that would not go away. That is when I started. It was never planned. One day, I had an idea but did not write it. The idea stayed with me so eventually I started writing it. I consider my first few stories: practice stories. I don't like them enough to publish but they helped me to get the feel of writing. I learned through writing those first few stories. I'm much more serious about writing now then I was then. Breathe, Eat, Drink (no alcohol), Sleep (when I can), and Write!
I started with photography just a few years ago. Out of nowhere, one day I felt like I wanted a camera. So I searched stores to find the best one for my limited income. I found one. At that time, I still had no clue what I wanted to photograph. I just wanted a camera so I got one. My first subject was my dog, Tyler.

Tyler will always be one of my favorite subjects. He was also the hardest. Turned his head just as I want to take the shot. Barked at the flash so I could rarely use the flash with him. Silly dog!

Sadly Tyler died in February 2008.
